Business model :
- Unilever works together with external Distributors to distribute Unilever products to small retailers in a traditional market
- The distributor will buy a product from Unilever and the Distributor salesman will sell the product to small retailers. Distributor will get the Distributor Margin from the price difference between the distributor’s purchase from Unilever and sell to retailers
Job description:
- Business Partnering with Sales and Distributor Team to ensure:
Distributors have healthy profitability (Distributor Profitability) by analyzing profitability loss tree, prepare plan improvement, and drive recommendations - Distributors have regular payment based on its invoice due and not leaving overdue status every month closing (Debtor Management)
- Distributors have asset pledged as security for repayment of loan, in case of default situation (Business Collateral)

The incumbent will execute end to end management of various business initiatives in Local Manage Indonesia:
The purpose of the role is to
Ensure the Sales operation & Finance Management processes are followed by the distributor on time in full Responsible for a smooth and cost-effective operations between the company, customers. The key challenge of the role is to develop consistency and coherence in the day-to-day operations of the Customer Development (CD) organisation, thus enabling Business Development Managers to focus on core selling roles. Lead on the execution of the E2E Internal administrative UI processes including Marketing, Legal, SC, and Finance.
Main Accountabilities
Finance management
- Budget Monitoring
- Budget planning following up budget agreement with Unilever Indonesia, make sure transferred on system and complete until OPSO/IO creation (TTS, BMI/CMS)
- Supporting Business Development to simulating P&L Plan and asking approval to Business Development Director.
- Preparing sales deal documents based on Business Development Agreements and circulate to customers, and archive the signed documents
- Account Receivable Tracking
- Follow up on Overdue payments from distributor ontime
- Ensure orders get credit release from finance team
- Review Bank Guaranty of Distributor
- Price Management
- Ensure pricing set up for UI Products is done with ULI
- Provide pricelist update based on calendar cotton update and share to Distributor regularly, including sanity check for active & non active SKU.
- Monitoring price increase trend and share to Business development manager for review
Customer management
- Understand customer business process in relation to Supply Chain, Finance, & operation improvement initiatives
- Distributor Operations Management:
- Coordinate with Distributor to consolidate at each division level, ensure timeliness of sales forecast, ensure accuracy of data to facilitate efficient order fulfilment.
- Gate keeper for Document export requirement; ensure timeliness of project rollout and requirement fulfilment.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations.
- Share stock update to Customer by weekly period
- Collect and share UAPL SLOB List to Customer and support to set up price maintenance by monthly period.
Manage Internal UI Processes
- Support Business Development Manager Indonesia.
- Monitors implementation and adherence to UI Processes internally across functions and externally with the distributors
- Monitors the performance of business partners by preparing scorecard.
Sales Operations Management:
- Managed overall Order Processing timeliness and accuracy
- Key process points contact owner to resolve all SAP master data concern pertaining to Price and Customer Master.
- Bi Monthly reporting on Sales vs target for total Indonesia business.

This person is responsible for all Unilever employees, contractors and third-party suppliers across the end-to-end supply chain including all decentralized businesses.
The SHE Lead works across the matrixed organization to deliver SHE technology, tools, and work processes to help clients across the businesses, functions and geographies excel in SHE performance. Lastly this role has responsibility for overseeing legal SHE compliance of all sites in the geography. Unilever has robust external and internal commitments for protecting people and the planet and the SHE community facilitates progress against those targets. - Oversee professional SHE skills within SHE and across client base by determining training needs and assisting in delivery of training programs
- Maintain local expertise in specific SHE technologies like machine safety, mechanized material handling equipment safety (MMHE), safe driving, office safety, safe travel, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, emergency planning and response, security, process safety, water, air and waste compliance requirements and others.
- Participate in Emergency Planning and Response
- Advise line management in all accident/incident investigations
- Assist the Incident Management Teams in leading and developing the internal incident management committees; support site leaders in the country/business in serious incident investigation and analysis
- Lead critical root cause investigations for complex incidents
- Integrate Newly Acquired Businesses and Decentralized Businesses
- Operate within the boundaries of SHE business expectations in cost, capital, and headcount.
Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in SHE related role including leadership responsibilities and accountability for results
- Technology experience in engineering, modelling, data analysis, manufacturing chemistries, environmental operations, environmental impact on the planet, and how those technologies impact risk
- Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management
- Excellent knowledge of SHE standards. Working knowledge using SHE IT tools and how those tools integrate into other functional work processes
- Ability to influence strategic deliverables in a widely matrixed organization. International business/cultural sensitivity
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously
- Good observation and auditing skills
- Ability to travel between 30% and 40% which is primarily within the geography
